OCYF Clinical Manager – Atlanta

About the role

The Office of Children, Young Adults, and Families (OCYF) is seeking a Clinical Manager to lead Georgia’s child and adolescent behavioral health crisis continuum. This hybrid position provides clinical and operational oversight for crisis stabilization units, inpatient contracts, and statewide crisis services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and monitor contracts for state‑funded crisis services, ensuring performance metrics and deliverables are met.
• Provide clinical oversight for Child and Adolescent Crisis Stabilization Units and private hospital contracts delivering inpatient crisis care.
• Collaborate with DBHDD divisions, Department of Community Health, Care Management Organizations, DFCS, DJJ, community service boards, and residential providers to ensure quality of care.
• Lead clinical decision‑making and care coordination for high‑acuity youth cases, including those with co‑occurring autism spectrum disorder.
• Offer technical assistance and consultation to providers, regional staff, families, and system partners.
• Serve as liaison to external stakeholders such as emergency departments at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
• Represent OCYF in state‑level collaborations, policy development, program improvement, and quality assurance initiatives.

Required profile

• In‑depth knowledge of Georgia’s behavioral health system and crisis services for children and adolescents.
• Experience in contract management, interagency collaboration, and provider engagement.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking.
• Ability to lead clinical decision‑making and coordinate care for high‑acuity cases.

• Maximum starting salary of $81,720.15 per year.
