Nutrition Research Internship

About the role

World Vision is seeking a Nutrition Research Intern to support its mission of improving child health and nutrition worldwide. This three‑month remote internship (January 25 – April 23 2027) offers hands‑on experience in systematic literature review and quantitative data analysis within a global humanitarian context.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct desk and systematic reviews on food‑based approaches and infant/young‑child feeding, using PubMed, Google Scholar and other sources.
• Synthesize and document findings, assess source credibility, and produce detailed reports with recommendations.
• Clean and analyze quantitative data for the Positive Deviance/Hearth program using SPSS and Excel.
• Report data trends and insights to the Principal Investigator and senior technical advisors.

Required profile

• Experience conducting systematic and desk reviews of nutrition‑related literature.
• Proficiency in quantitative data handling and analysis.
• Knowledge of global health and nutrition issues with cultural sensitivity.
• Strong written communication and organizational skills for remote work.
• Commitment to World Vision’s Christian mission and values.
