Nurse Aide Instructor & Program Coordinator

About the role

The State of Georgia, through Central Georgia Technical College, seeks a dedicated Nurse Aide Instructor and Program Coordinator to deliver high‑quality classroom instruction and oversee program administration. This position supports student success and aligns curriculum with accreditation standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Nurse Aide instruction in classroom, evening, weekend, and online formats.
• Develop syllabi, lesson plans, and program goals in accordance with TCSG policies.
• Maintain grade books, testing procedures, and accurate student records.
• Mentor adjunct faculty and provide support for dual‑enrollment sites.
• Prepare reports, invoices, and inventory of assigned property.
• Travel to multiple campus locations and clinical sites as needed.

Required profile

• Under general supervision, capable of teaching all phases of the Nurse Aide curriculum.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Commitment to professional development and compliance with accreditation standards.
• Ability to work the college’s normal business hours with flexibility for evenings or weekends.

Required skills

• Proficiency in instructional design and curriculum development.
• Knowledge of current nursing aide procedures and best practices.
• Experience with grading, record‑keeping, and academic reporting.
