Nurse Aide & Allied Health Instructor (Full‑time)

About the role

Columbus Technical College seeks a dedicated professional to join its Health Sciences division as a full‑time Nurse Aide/Allied Health Instructor. You will deliver classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction to college and high‑school students across multiple counties, supporting the development of future healthcare workers.

Key responsibilities

• Teach courses in the Nurse Aide program and other allied health subjects, following state standards.
• Develop lesson plans, evaluate student progress, and maintain documentation for program certification.
• Manage classroom and lab safety, request and maintain supplies and equipment.
• Accompany students to clinical facilities and travel to partner high schools as needed.
• Participate in departmental meetings, staff development, workshops, and conferences.
• Assist with recruitment, retention, and job placement initiatives.

Required profile

• Physical ability to stand for long periods, bend, stoop, reach, and lift up to 50 lb unassisted.
• Willingness to teach high‑school students and travel across Muscogee, Stewart, Quitman, Chattahoochee, Harris, and Talbot counties.
• Strong time‑management, organization, and communication skills.
• General computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel).
