About the role
The Georgia Crime Information Center (GCIC) seeks a Non‑Criminal Justice Compliance Specialist to conduct biannual audits for agencies that receive state and federal criminal history records. This sensitive government position supports compliance with state and federal regulations and contributes to public safety.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and conduct biannual onsite audits for non‑criminal agencies receiving criminal history information.
- Develop audit reports that include findings, evaluations, and corrective‑action recommendations.
- Ensure adherence to state and federal laws governing non‑criminal justice information.
Required profile
- Professional customer‑support experience.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong time‑management and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent verbal, oral and written communication skills.
Required skills
- Knowledge of state and federal laws, policies and regulations related to the Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) network.
