New Product Introduction Instructor (DDP)

About the role

The DDP New Product Introduction (NPI) Instructor works in Austin, TX or Santa Clara, CA to develop and deliver technical training for both existing and newly launched semiconductor equipment. The role blends classroom instruction, hands‑on lab training, and product expertise to ensure customers and internal teams can operate tools safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver instructor‑led and distance‑learning courses for new semiconductor tools, including hands‑on lab sessions.
• Travel domestically and internationally to provide on‑site training and certify customers and internal instructors.
• Maintain deep technical knowledge of new and existing products, updating course materials as tools evolve.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and Global Technical Training to create documentation, troubleshoot equipment, and support product launch milestones.
• Mentor junior instructors, lead small project teams, and manage multiple training projects simultaneously.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, education, training, or equivalent military experience.
• At least 4 years of hands‑on experience with semiconductor equipment installation, programming, maintenance, troubleshooting, or repair.
• Proven ability to learn complex mechanical, electrical, and software systems quickly.
• Experience delivering technical training, developing curriculum, and managing projects.
