MySQL Developer – Application Support Engineer

About the role

Accenture Flex is seeking a MySQL Developer to join its Application Support team. You will work on critical business systems, diagnosing and resolving complex software issues while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a software detective, identifying and solving issues across multiple system components.
• Serve as a subject‑matter expert, guiding the team and making key technical decisions.
• Provide solutions for immediate and cross‑team challenges, ensuring system reliability and performance.
• Develop deep expertise in diagnosing complex software problems and monitoring system health.
• Share knowledge and best practices related to application support and database management.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve system design and operational processes.
• Analyze recurring problems and propose innovative improvements to support strategies.
• Monitor performance metrics to proactively identify risks and implement preventive measures.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience.
• Advanced proficiency in MySQL, including performance tuning and optimization.
• Associate’s degree or higher.
• Willingness to work onsite 60% of the time and remotely 40%.
• Compliance with 5 days of Time Away per calendar quarter.
