Multi-site Groundskeeper for Active Adult Communities

About the role

Ensures the physical aspects of the community are maintained and standards are met regarding the grounds, amenities and overall curb appeal while supporting the service team. This dual‑site position covers two active‑adult properties in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, pet droppings and keep common areas neat.
• Remove trash from vacant apartments before make‑ready, transport it to dumpsters or storage, and maintain storage areas.
• Complete minor and routine service requests and assist the make‑ready specialist in the turn process.
• Change locks according to policy and ensure pool‑area gates operate safely and meet code requirements.
• Distribute notices and communications to residents as needed.
• Report any hazards or dangerous situations to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions and address maintenance complaints sensitively.
• Follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings, complete OSHA training and report accidents accurately.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, lift up to 25 lb independently and 50 lb with assistance, and work in all weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work a Tuesday‑Saturday schedule, be on call during evenings, weekends and holidays, and travel occasionally to other properties.
• Commitment to safety procedures, including participation in OSHA and other safety training.
