About the role
The MRI Technologist provides diagnostic magnetic resonance imaging services within the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Working on the day shift, the technologist operates MRI equipment, prepares patients, and ensures high‑quality image acquisition in a clinical support environment.
Key responsibilities
- Operate MRI scanners to obtain diagnostic images according to physician orders.
- Prepare and position patients safely, explaining procedures and addressing concerns.
- Monitor equipment performance, perform routine quality checks, and report any technical issues.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
- Adhere to safety protocols, including radiation safety and infection control standards.
Required profile
- Legal authorization to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
- Commitment to patient care and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
