Motion Designer – Creative Studio

About the role

We are looking for a Motion Designer to join Sierra’s Creative Studio and bring our brand to life through movement. The role blends high‑level craft with systems thinking to create standout motion work and define reusable patterns across all touchpoints.

Key responsibilities

• Create high‑quality motion designs for marketing campaigns, product launches, customer stories, events, social content and brand initiatives.
• Develop motion systems, principles and animation frameworks that ensure consistency and brand recognition.
• Build scalable motion templates, guidelines and documentation for efficient on‑brand production.
• Partner with brand designers, marketers, product teams and external partners to elevate storytelling through animation.
• Mentor teammates and establish best practices for motion across digital, experiential and product experiences.
• Explore new creative possibilities enabled by AI while maintaining high standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Required profile

• 8+ years of motion design experience with a portfolio demonstrating exceptional craft and storytelling.
• Deep expertise in animation principles, timing, typography and motion systems.
• Proven ability to build motion design frameworks and reusable assets for scalable standards.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with designers, marketers, product teams and executives.
• Self‑starter mindset comfortable defining processes and creative opportunities from scratch.
