About the role

The Mobile Grocery Store Driver operates a specialized 1.5‑ton truck and a 44‑ft gooseneck trailer to deliver fresh fruits, vegetables, and other grocery items directly to customers at designated sites. This position combines safe vehicle operation, inventory handling, and front‑line customer service to ensure timely and reliable deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Drive a Class A‑rated truck and trailer on a pre‑determined route, adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.
• Load and unload grocery inventory, verifying product accuracy and condition.
• Provide courteous service to customers, answering basic questions about deliveries.
• Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle and trailer, performing routine inspections.
• Report daily activity and any issues to the Director of the University District.

Required profile

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
