Mobile Engineer – React Native (SF/Boston)

About the role

We are looking for a Mobile Engineer to build our first native mobile app using React Native. This is a foundational hire responsible for standing up the app from scratch, making key architectural decisions, and establishing patterns for the rest of the team.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop a production‑ready React Native app from the ground up.
• Make architectural choices and set coding standards for mobile and shared web codebases.
• Integrate native iOS/Android features (e.g., HealthKit, push notifications, video SDKs) using Swift or Kotlin as needed.
• Collaborate on the Next.js web frontend to ensure a unified product surface.
• Write product requirement documents, run SQL queries to monitor feature performance, and own QA processes.
• Work closely with design, operations, and clinical stakeholders in a fast‑moving, ambiguous environment.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience building mobile apps with production React Native.
• Strong understanding of native iOS or Android development (Swift or Kotlin).
• High agency, comfortable with rapid iteration and technical excellence.
• Willingness to work onsite in San Francisco or Boston at least three days per week.
