Mobile Engineer – iOS & Android

About the role

The Mobile Engineer will design, build, and scale native iOS and Android applications that serve as the primary user‑facing interfaces for our products. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and data teams to turn requirements into reliable, high‑quality mobile experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and ship production features for iOS and Android using Swift, Kotlin, SwiftUI, UIKit, Jetpack Compose, and the Android SDK.
• Design application architecture, state management, networking layers, and offline data flows for maintainable, testable codebases.
• Integrate REST and GraphQL APIs, authentication flows, push notifications, analytics, payments, and third‑party SDKs.
• Improve performance by profiling startup time, memory usage, battery consumption, rendering, and network efficiency.
• Own release workflows with Fastlane, GitHub Actions, Firebase App Distribution, TestFlight, and Google Play Console.
• Implement unit, integration, UI, and end‑to‑end tests; monitor crashes and health with Crashlytics, Sentry, or similar tools.
• Participate in code reviews, technical planning, incident response, and delivery of accessible experiences across devices and OS versions.

Required profile

• 3–8 years of professional mobile development experience with production ownership of iOS, Android, or both.
• Strong proficiency in Swift and/or Kotlin, including modern concurrency, lifecycle management, and dependency injection.
• Experience building apps that consume REST or GraphQL services and handle authentication, caching, error states, and unreliable connectivity.
• Knowledge of mobile architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture, modularization, and reactive programming (Combine, Kotlin Coroutines, Flow).
