Milk Lab Technician

About the role

The Milk Lab Technician will support the NICU Milk Lab at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, ensuring accurate processing and analysis of milk samples for neonatal patients.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, label, and store milk specimens following strict protocols.
• Perform laboratory analyses and quality control checks on milk samples.
• Document results in the laboratory information system and communicate findings to clinical staff.
• Maintain a clean and compliant laboratory environment, including equipment calibration and sanitation.
• Assist with inventory management of supplies and reagents.

Required profile

• Current employee of the University of Arkansas System (including student employees or graduate assistants).
• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States.
• Commitment to patient safety and confidentiality.
