Midlevel Healthcare Litigation & Regulatory Associate

About the role

Davis Wright Tremaine LLP is seeking a mid‑level Healthcare Litigation & Regulatory Associate to join its nationally recognized Healthcare Practice Group in either Seattle or Los Angeles (preferred). The associate will work closely with experienced litigators and regulatory attorneys on sophisticated matters for healthcare providers, systems, and industry participants.

Key responsibilities

• Handle healthcare litigation and commercial disputes.
• Manage medical staff and peer‑review matters.
• Address licensing and board actions.
• Conduct administrative enforcement proceedings.
• Lead fraud and abuse investigations and related enforcement matters.
• Resolve regulatory and compliance disputes.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of litigation experience, preferably at a law firm.
• Strong writing, research, advocacy, and case‑management skills.
• Experience handling litigation through various stages of dispute resolution.
• Interest in healthcare law, regulatory enforcement, and complex disputes.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and collaborate across teams.
• Strong academic credentials and excellent professional judgment.

• Annualized salary range $225,000 – $315,000, adjusted for experience.
