Mid-Level Cyber Intelligence Analyst

About the role

Amentum is hiring mid-level Cyber Intelligence Analysts to support its U.S. Department of Energy contract. The positions are based in the Washington, D.C. area on a 5-day, 8-hour schedule. The analyst provides timely, actionable threat intelligence on hostile nation-states, cyber adversaries and criminals targeting U.S. energy sector partners.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a wide range of cyber intelligence services delivering threat intelligence on hostile nation-states, cyber adversaries and criminals.
• Support incident response investigations.
• Brief technical and executive leadership.

Required profile

• 5-8 years supporting DOE, DoD, Intelligence Community, National Laboratory or other federal cyber operations.
• Experience producing cyber threat intelligence and supporting incident response investigations.
• Active TS/SCI or DOE Q clearance required.

Required skills

• Experience with malware analysis, threat hunting, vulnerability assessments or insider threat.
• Ability to brief technical and executive leadership.
• Certification such as Security+, CySA+, GCIH, GCIA or equivalent.
