Mental Health Technician

About the role

Clear Behavioral Health is seeking a Mental Health Technician to support clients in a residential setting. Working under the supervision of the Program Manager or Director, you will help maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and assist with daily living activities.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate clients' daily routines, including wake‑ups, chores, meals, and laundry.
• Observe and document client behavior, intervene according to treatment plans, and coordinate with counseling staff.
• Complete shift reports, transport clients to appointments, and ensure phones are available during designated hours.
• Supervise self‑administration of medications after proper training and conduct intake checks for new clients.
• Follow emergency procedures, provide ATA prevention, and support after‑care groups and sober‑living checks.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience working with mental health or dual‑diagnosis populations (preferred).
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and pass TB or X‑Ray clearance.
• Clean background check and ability to pass a livescan.

Required skills

• CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain).
• Basic knowledge of medication supervision procedures.
