About the role
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist I specialized in Human Leukocyte Antigen (HLA) testing. This regular, shift‑varying clinical staff position supports the laboratory’s mission to deliver high‑quality diagnostic services to patients across Arkansas.
Key responsibilities
- Perform HLA testing and related assays in a certified clinical laboratory.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with laboratory safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with laboratory team members to ensure timely turnaround of results.
Required profile
- Current employee, student or graduate assistant of the University of Arkansas System (or eligible external candidate with legal work authorization in the United States).
- Authorization to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
