Medical Director/Senior Medical Leader - Oncology Late Development - Prostate

About the role

The Director Clinical Research Oncology will lead a matrix team responsible for the execution of late‑development clinical studies on a prostate oncology compound. Reporting to the Clinical Leader, the role combines scientific oversight, mentorship, and cross‑functional collaboration to drive study start‑up, conduct, and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the clinical study team, ensuring training and supervision across assigned studies.
• Collaborate with Data Management, Biostatistics, Regulatory, GCO, QMMC, and GMS to ensure integrated execution of study protocols.
• Oversee medical monitoring, adverse event review, and site issue resolution throughout study conduct.
• Participate in protocol development, informed consent creation, and regulatory submission documentation.
• Represent the clinical team in governance and committee meetings, and liaise with investigators and key opinion leaders.

Required profile

• Advanced medical degree (MD or equivalent) with board‑certified or board‑eligible Uro‑Oncologist/Oncologist status.
• Post‑doctoral fellowship training and at least 3 years of relevant urology/oncology clinical research experience.
• Strong knowledge of basic and clinical cancer research and drug development.
• Proven ability to work in matrix environments and cross‑functional teams.
