Medical Assistant – Concierge Medicine

About the role

Join Logan Health’s Concierge Medicine team in Kalispell, MT, providing highly personalized, relationship‑based care. As a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant you will support patient care, coordination, and administrative operations in a full‑time day‑shift position.

Key responsibilities

• Greet, room, and prepare patients for examinations, obtaining histories and vital signs.
• Assist providers during exams, procedures, and treatments while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Collect laboratory specimens, perform competency‑validated clinical tasks, and document information in the electronic medical record.
• Coordinate referrals, diagnostic testing, prior authorizations, scheduling, and follow‑up appointments.
• Maintain exam rooms, equipment, and supplies; handle patient calls and portal communications.

Required profile

• Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through an accredited certifying organization.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within seven days of hire.
• One year of experience in a medical practice setting preferred.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, basic lab values, pharmacology, infection control, and HIPAA.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) documentation.
• Microsoft Office Suite competency.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Specimen collection and basic clinical task performance.
