Medical Assistant – Arrhythmia Clinic

About the role

The Arrhythmia Clinic is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide individualized patient care under the supervision of a licensed health care provider. You will support patients and providers throughout each visit, ensuring smooth workflow and high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare patients and providers for appointments, including room setup and documentation.
• Communicate with patients by phone and in person to address questions and coordinate care.
• Maintain accurate electronic and paper records of medical information.
• Support the provider during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Adhere to Department of Transportation drug‑testing policies when applicable.

Required profile

• High School Diploma/GED; completion of a formal medical assistant training program preferred.
• Experience handling confidential information in a fast‑paced environment.
• Medical Assistant Certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Strong interpersonal and customer‑service skills with the ability to adapt communication style to diverse patient populations.
