Mechanical Hardware Test & Validation Engineer

About the role

Ridealso is seeking a Mechanical Hardware Test & Validation Engineer to validate low‑voltage electromechanical modules for next‑generation light electric vehicles. The role blends hands‑on testing, data acquisition, and technical documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with design, systems, and reliability engineers to create and execute end‑to‑end test plans.
• Perform performance, reliability, durability, and environmental testing on low‑voltage modules while maintaining detailed documentation.
• Set up and operate DAQs, sensors, and other test equipment to collect data across varied conditions.
• Coordinate with third‑party vendors, contract manufacturers, and test facilities.
• Analyze results, prepare technical summaries, and support equipment calibration and fixture development.
• Travel up to 15% of the time to visit test vendors.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Hands‑on testing experience from academic, personal, or internship projects, including setup, instrumentation, data recording, and teardown.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities, self‑starter mentality, and excellent documentation and communication skills.

Required skills

• Data acquisition systems and sensor integration.
• Test equipment operation and calibration.
• Basic programming or scripting for data analysis (Python, MATLAB, or similar).
