MBA Internship – Insurance Venture Capital

About the role

Equal Ventures is looking for an MBA intern with a background in insurance or insurtech to support the Founder/Managing Partner on research and diligence for early‑stage investments in the insurance sector. The role blends market analysis, deal sourcing, and occasional interaction with portfolio companies.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market and competitive research on insurance and insurtech trends.
• Assist in due‑diligence processes, including data collection and analysis.
• Prepare concise write‑ups on potential investment opportunities.
• Collaborate with portfolio companies on specific projects as needed.
• Attend weekly office sessions (minimum one day per week) and contribute to team discussions.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed an MBA program.
• Strong interest in early‑stage investing and venture capital.
• Experience or strong familiarity with insurance, insurtech, or related industries.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to think rigorously about markets.
• Self‑motivated, hungry, and ready to roll up sleeves.
