Materials Associate – Warehouse

About the role

Fastwater Staffing is seeking a Materials Associate to support shipping, receiving, and inventory operations at its Santa Ana and Costa Mesa facilities. The role is on‑site and essential for maintaining smooth material flow across locations.

Key responsibilities

• Process inbound and outbound shipments, prepare finished stock for shipment, and ensure accurate material movement between sites.
• Conduct cycle counts, maintain inventory accuracy, label and track materials, and report shortages.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment, or coordinate with machine operators for loading and unloading.
• Courier inventory between Santa Ana and Costa Mesa sites and expedite material flow to meet production and shipping schedules.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience as a warehouse associate or similar role.
• Ability to work 1st or 2nd shift, overtime as needed, and hold a valid driver’s license.
• Local residency to Santa Ana or Costa Mesa, CA.
• Eligibility for U.S. security clearance; active secret or top‑secret clearance within the last 5 years is preferred.

Required skills

• Forklift operation and license (preferred).
• Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office for inventory reporting.
• Knowledge of inventory tracking methods such as lot, serial, or batch control.
• Experience handling hazardous shipments.
