Material Coordinator/Handler III – 2nd Shift

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Material Coordinator/Handler III for the second shift to support inventory and material flow in a high‑tech manufacturing environment. The role involves managing daily store activities, handling shipments, and ensuring clean‑room material readiness while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prioritize daily store tasks, receive parts, verify vendor deliveries, and update inventory records in Oracle or SAP.
• Perform cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and manage non‑conformances.
• Pick up and drop off materials at vendor sites using a van or truck, and operate powered industrial vehicles such as pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, forklifts, and overhead cranes.
• Prepare and regulate material for clean‑room delivery, replenish line‑side bins, and purge excess or obsolete stock.
• Review MRP schedules, expedite material receipt, and train/ certify other coordinators as needed.

Required profile

• Physically demanding position requiring standing, walking, lifting, bending, and the ability to work in noisy or tight spaces and clean‑room environments.
• Ability to follow documented business processes, safety protocols, and provide informal guidance to junior team members.
