Marketing Manager – Legal Services

About the role

The Marketing Manager leads DTO Law’s marketing and business development function, shaping strategy to boost brand visibility, AI search positioning, and pipeline tracking. Reporting to the Managing Partner with a dotted line to the COO, the role oversees a Marketing Assistant in New York and works across Los Angeles, Silicon Valley, and New York offices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute AI search visibility strategy, including quarterly reports and audits across ChatGPT, Copilot, and Claude.
• Own the firm’s CRM (InterAction) – build pipelines, coach partners, and produce attribution reporting.
• Manage the 12‑month editorial calendar, website updates, and content creation for attorneys.
• Lead external business‑development programs such as conferences, CLEs, webinars, and alumni events, tracking ROI and budget.
• Plan and execute firm events and retreats, handling venue selection, vendor contracts, logistics, and post‑event follow‑up.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of total marketing experience, including 3‑5 years in a law firm or professional‑services environment.
• Proven ability to translate strategic marketing initiatives into measurable ROI and KPI reporting.
• Experience managing a small team and coordinating cross‑office activities.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid or remote setting while supporting Los Angeles‑based operations.

Required skills

• Advanced prompting and workflow creation in ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, and Anthropic Claude.
• Proficiency with InterAction CRM for business‑development planning and reporting.
• Content management for website updates, editorial calendars, and visual asset production.
• Event planning and vendor management for large‑scale corporate events.
