Marketing Compliance Manager

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented compliance professional to lead marketing and product compliance for Cardless’s co‑branded credit‑card programs. The role sits at the intersection of compliance, marketing and product, ensuring customer‑facing materials and application flows meet regulatory and partner‑bank requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Review and approve marketing materials, disclosures and application flows for compliance with regulations such as Regulation Z, Regulation B, UDAAP, CAN‑SPAM, TCPA and FCRA.
• Support new card‑program launches by embedding required disclosures and regulatory elements.
• Partner with marketing, product, design and operations teams to translate regulatory requirements into practical, customer‑friendly guidance.
• Maintain and update compliance policies, procedures and checklists; track reviews to create audit‑ready records and clear approval workflows.
• Escalate higher‑risk or complex issues to senior compliance leadership with analysis and recommendations.

Required profile

• 4–5 years of experience in compliance, legal, risk or a related function within banking, fintech or financial services.
• Working knowledge of consumer‑protection and marketing‑related regulations (Regulation Z, Regulation B, UDAAP, CAN‑SPAM, TCPA, FCRA).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to review customer‑facing content through a regulatory lens.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a solutions‑oriented approach.
• Self‑directed, able to operate independently without a defined playbook.
