Marketing Communications Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Marketing Communications Specialist to support strategic communications and engagement initiatives for Applied Materials' Semiconductor Product Group. The role will drive high‑impact customer events, industry forums, executive engagements and internal communications that enhance product visibility and reinforce our leadership in the semiconductor industry.

Key responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of high‑impact showcase events aligned with major industry gatherings, including technology forums, regional symposia and university engagements.
• Coordinate all event logistics – venue selection, vendor engagement, contract negotiation, site inspections, registration, attendee communications and onsite management using Cvent.
• Manage external agencies and vendors to produce promotional materials, oversee budgets, timelines and logistics.
• Develop and distribute internal communications such as announcements, newsletters and leadership messages, partnering with product marketing, sales and engineering teams.
• Build and maintain relationships with executives, customers, partners, academia and vendors, and track event performance and media engagement using KPIs.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in marketing communications, event marketing or corporate communications, preferably in a technology or B2B environment.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale, multi‑stakeholder events.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive‑level messaging.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field.
