MAP Engineer II – A220

About the role

The MAP Engineer II supports the A220 Engineering Department at Airbus' U.S. Manufacturing Facility in Mobile, AL. Acting as a liaison, the engineer develops, approves and releases technical solutions for aircraft non‑conformities across multiple engineering specialties.

Key responsibilities

• Create, approve and authorize technical solutions for aircraft non‑conformities.
• Represent and coordinate engineering specialties such as Aircraft Systems, Cabin, Electrical & Mechanical Installation, and Structures.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure solutions meet quality, safety and regulatory requirements.
• Document and release engineering changes in accordance with Airbus procedures.

Required profile

• Engineering background with expertise in at least one of the listed specialties.
• Ability to develop and evaluate technical solutions for complex aircraft issues.
• Strong communication skills to act as a liaison between engineering and production.
