Manufacturing Storeroom Technician

About the role

The Storeroom Technician is a full‑time position responsible for receiving parts and equipment that arrive at the brewery, entering them into SAP and storing them in the appropriate locations. The role ensures inventory accuracy, assists with part procurement from other storerooms, and supports operations during weekdays, weekends and holidays. The storeroom operates from 6:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Key responsibilities

• Receive all supplier shipments and perform timely goods receipts in SAP.
• Monitor shipments for compliance with quality and quantity specifications and notify the Storeroom Manager of any non‑compliance.
• Distribute storeroom goods issued from SAP, Parts Imaging, and ASRS.
• Perform accurate inventory counts as directed by SAP or business processes in accordance with SOPs.
• Review and process all materials returned to inventory according to SOPs.
• Package and ship materials being returned to suppliers, ensuring proper documentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of the storeroom.

Required profile

• Ability to follow SOPs with attention to detail.
• Awareness of safety and environmental issues.
• Capability to lift up to 50 lb daily.
• Willingness to work any of the three shifts and provide weekend coverage.
• Basic PC skills using Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Customer‑service focus.
• Mechanical or technical background with basic knowledge of spare parts (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field (preferred).
• Basic knowledge of inventory‑management techniques (a plus).
