Brewing Operator

About the role

Safety first, quality always, then volume. As a Brewing Apprentice in the Brewing Department, you will perform the same tasks as a regular full‑time employee, monitoring quality, interpreting data, and improving processes.

Key responsibilities

• Operate brewing beer production systems and equipment including grains unloading, brewhouse, fermentation, secondary aging, filtration, and flavored alcoholic beverage processes.
• Manage brewing process, housekeeping, and sanitation.
• Control brewing systems, drive fork trucks, record process data, troubleshoot and respond to shift activities.
• Ensure Standard Operating Procedures and sanitation practices are followed at all times.
• Maintain plant safety and quality requirements.
• Function in a lean manufacturing environment using problem‑solving tools.
• Perform industrial cleaning, sanitation and quality checks.
• Utilize Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook & PowerPoint).

Required profile

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required; 2‑year degree or brewing experience preferred.
• Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds and work in varying temperatures and climates.
• Physical requirements include continuous standing, bending, lifting and pushing.
• Basic math and scientific knowledge, technical decision‑making and presentation skills.
• Positive work attitude and self‑motivation.
• Ability to operate in a team‑oriented environment.
