Manufacturing Operations Manager – Lead Production Excellence

About the role

3M is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead safe, efficient, and cost‑effective production at its Oklahoma site. You will partner with site leadership to drive continuous improvement, develop high‑performing teams, and ensure operational excellence across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing operations to meet safety, schedule, quality, and cost targets.
• Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Allocate resources, set priorities, and monitor key performance indicators.
• Drive Lean Six Sigma and other continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Coach and mentor supervisors, fostering a culture of accountability.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, ISO, TS, GMP, and other regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance to optimize performance.
• Lead S&OP activities to meet customer service, inventory, and capacity goals.
• Identify and implement new technologies and process improvements.
• Support new product introductions and operational readiness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or Operations Management.
• Minimum eight (8) years of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
• At least three (3) years of supervisory or leadership experience.

Required skills

• Lean Six Sigma methodology.
• Knowledge of ISO, TS, and GMP standards.
• S&OP planning.
• KPI development and monitoring.
• Supply chain optimization.
• Process improvement and new technology implementation.
