Manufacturing Operation Co‑Op

About the role

The Manufacturing Operation Co‑Op supports the Operations team with engineering projects and continuous‑improvement initiatives in a regulated MedTech environment. This full‑time, 12‑month position runs from January to December 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Assist low to medium complexity engineering projects and process optimization to improve throughput, equipment utilization and waste reduction.
• Perform root‑cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and support non‑conformance quality actions from initiation to closure.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality and engineering teams, and coordinate communications with equipment suppliers.
• Support equipment and process validation activities and ensure compliance with SOPs, GMP, ISO and safety standards.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
• Completed at least freshman year, graduation after December 2027, GPA ≥ 2.8.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills; able to work independently and in cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Data‑analysis tools such as Power BI or Minitab.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, GMP and ISO standards.
