Manufacturing Engineering Manager

About the role

The Manufacturing Engineering Manager leads a team of engineers supporting daily operations, process robustness, yield improvement, equipment reliability and validation execution in a regulated GMP/ISO environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the manufacturing engineering team, ensuring clear priorities and talent development.
• Establish engineering standards, governance and line‑side support across value streams.
• Drive performance metrics such as yield, UPPH, uptime, OEE and productivity through disciplined execution and risk‑based prioritization.
• Lead moderate to high‑complexity projects, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance and financial discipline.
• Provide leadership for root‑cause analysis, non‑conformance investigations, corrective actions and process control improvements.
• Ensure robust validation strategies (FAT, IQ, OQ, PQ) and readiness for regulated manufacturing.
• Partner cross‑functionally with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Automation, Facilities, Supply Chain, Finance, HR and global engineering.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (advanced degree preferred).
• Minimum 8 years of manufacturing engineering or related experience, preferably in medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
• People leadership or demonstrated technical/team leadership experience.
• Experience with GMP/ISO requirements, validation lifecycle and technical investigations.
