Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a highly organized Manufacturing Engineer to join our Small Machining group in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on developing and maintaining machining process routings and ensuring seamless integration with upstream and downstream operations.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain detailed machining process routings, including operations, cycle times, and work instructions.
• Collaborate with design, process, and quality engineers to align routings with product specifications and quality standards.
• Analyze workflows, implement Lean Manufacturing principles, and drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate tooling, equipment maintenance, and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Participate in cross‑functional project teams for new product introductions and capacity expansions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in machining, manufacturing engineering, or process planning with a focus on routing and coordination.
• Proven ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams and communicate technical information clearly.
