Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

As a Manufacturing Engineer at Bosch, you will own the performance of assigned production lines, driving improvements in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity. You will work closely with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Controls, and Technical Functions to troubleshoot issues and implement sustainable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Own daily line performance metrics such as Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, FPY, OEE, downtime, and scrap.
• Identify, analyze, and implement improvements using data‑driven methodologies (PDCA, 5 Why, Fishbone, RedX, Six Sigma).
• Develop and maintain APQP documentation (PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams) and manufacturing work instructions.
• Lead or support new process design, validation, launch, and Engineering Change Requests.
• Conduct Layered Process Audits, 5S, and other compliance audits to ensure IATF 16949 adherence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical, Metallurgical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum three years of manufacturing engineering experience in a high‑volume environment.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities with a data‑focused decision‑making approach.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally, prioritize work, and drive projects to completion.
