Manufacturing Associate I

About the role

Moog is seeking a Manufacturing Associate I to join its production team in Galax, VA. The role involves performing precise measurements, operating production equipment, and collaborating with quality and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform precision measurements and inspections using calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, microscopes, and other measuring equipment.
• Operate, monitor, and support multiple manufacturing and production processes.
• Interpret customer drawings, blueprints, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Maintain accurate product tracking and production records throughout the manufacturing process.
• Collaborate daily with Quality and Process Engineering teams to resolve quality‑related issues.
• Develop, revise, and maintain documentation such as SOPs, work instructions, checklists, and forms.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED preferred; ability to understand and apply work instructions and training.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 30 lb with or without reasonable accommodations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, microscopes).
• Familiarity with AS9100, ISO, IPC, Military and Space industry requirements.
