Manager, Forward-Deployed AI Engineer – AI Mobilization & Transformation

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Manager, Forward-Deployed AI Engineer to lead AI transformation across business units. You will embed within teams, identify high‑value AI opportunities, and deliver production‑grade solutions while building internal AI capability.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business units to discover workflow, productivity, and decision‑making opportunities where AI can add measurable value.
• Lead end‑to‑end AI transformation engagements, from discovery and solution design to implementation and capability building.
• Create high‑impact use cases and reusable playbooks that showcase AI benefits and accelerate enterprise‑wide adoption.
• Design, develop, and deploy production‑ready AI assistants, agents, and orchestration frameworks that solve real business problems.
• Coach engineers, analysts, product managers, and operational teams on AI‑first ways of working and establish a train‑the‑trainer model.
• Facilitate hands‑on workshops, develop training assets, and nurture local AI champions.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading AI or data‑science initiatives in a corporate environment.
• Strong change‑leadership skills with a track record of embedding technical solutions within business teams.
• Ability to translate complex business challenges into practical AI applications.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
