Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis

About the role

Mastercard is looking for a Manager in Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis to join its global finance organization. The role will support enterprise‑wide financial planning, performance management, and strategic decision‑making for designated business areas.

Key responsibilities

• Lead core FP&A processes including annual planning, quarterly forecasts, and long‑range planning.
• Partner with business, regional finance, and corporate teams to deliver forward‑looking insights and ensure alignment with enterprise strategy.
• Drive financial performance analysis, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities across revenue, expenses, and margin.
• Support executive reporting for the CFO and Management Committee, creating clear and actionable materials.
• Enhance driver‑based forecasting models and continuously improve planning tools, processes, and governance.
• Act as a strategic advisor, linking financial outcomes to operational drivers and market dynamics.
• Evaluate investment proposals, assessing returns, risks, and strategic fit.
• Maintain data integrity, consistency, and auditability across all reporting and planning outputs.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in financial planning, forecasting, and performance management in a fast‑paced, global environment.
• Proven ability to synthesize large data sets into clear insights and communicate effectively to senior stakeholders.
• Experience building and managing financial models, including scenario planning and sensitivity analysis.
• Demonstrated cross‑functional collaboration and stakeholder‑management skills.
• High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, structure, and audit readiness.
• Proactive, self‑driven mindset with a track record of process improvements and results delivery.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence without authority.
