Manager, Data Analytics

About the role

This role sits at the intersection of analytics engineering, marketing science, digital analytics, data products and decision science. It involves managing team efforts to build repeatable reports and dashboards so internal clients can make data-driven decisions, implementing strategies that deliver measurable financial returns, and working with business stakeholders to turn customer data into insights.

Key responsibilities

• Test, analyze and solve data issues to ensure data integrity, and provide technical support for users of the self-service business intelligence tool.
• Develop complex reporting dashboards and scorecards, and report and analyze data across the business to guide BI decisions.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Care and Strategy to target insights and understand customer behavior.
• Support multiple departments so their BI, analytics and reporting needs are met through technology, architecture, processes and tools.
• Manage project communications between departments, track deliverables, relay revision requests, record progress and address obstacles.
• Design and manage multivariate and/or A/B testing for marketing and web evolution.

Required profile

• Typically a BS/BA in a related discipline; generally 7+ years of experience in a related field; advanced degree may offset less experience.
• Able to translate technical findings into business decisions, work with senior leaders, influence product, marketing and technology teams, and act as subject matter expert on analytics methodologies.

Required skills

• Advanced SQL and data modeling, including window functions, complex CTEs, large-scale transformations and multi-source integration.
• Snowflake or other modern cloud data platforms, data pipelines, data quality validation and metric governance.
• Digital and ecommerce analytics: clickstream, search, conversion funnels, attribution models; Adobe Analytics experience desired but not required.
• Python with strong preference for Pandas, automation and reporting automation.
