Manager, Data & AI Strategy

About the role

As a Manager of Data & AI Strategy at TELUS Digital, you will lead advisory engagements that help clients define and execute AI and data initiatives. The position can be performed remotely from anywhere in the United States or from one of our North American offices.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of Data & AI advisory projects, ensuring high‑quality, on‑time outcomes.
• Serve as the primary client contact, building trusted partnerships across business and technical stakeholders.
• Identify gaps between business ambitions and current data/AI capabilities, articulating risks and implications.
• Design and facilitate workshops on AI strategy, use‑case prioritization, governance, and operating‑model design.
• Develop executive‑level narratives, present strategic recommendations, and drive alignment and commitment.
• Contribute to practice development by creating reusable frameworks, mentoring junior staff, and spotting new business opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading data and AI consulting engagements for enterprise clients.
• Strong client‑facing and communication skills, with ability to translate complex concepts into clear actions.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cross‑functional teams and drive projects to completion.
• Strategic thinking and expertise in data governance, operating‑model design, and AI adoption.
