Manager, Corporate Development (M&A)

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Manager, Corporate Development to lead M&A and equity investment activities worldwide. The role partners with business units to identify, evaluate, and execute growth opportunities that align with Mastercard’s global strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Research industry trends and identify acquisition and investment targets across geographies.
• Collaborate with global business units to assess strategic fit of potential M&A targets.
• Lead all phases of the acquisition process, including valuation, due diligence, and integration planning.
• Create business cases and financial models for acquisitions and equity investments.
• Coordinate internal and external resources to execute deals and prepare senior‑level presentations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
• Prior experience in M&A, investment banking, corporate development, or transaction advisory.
• Strong analytical abilities with proven financial modeling and valuation expertise.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of payments, technology, or financial services is a plus.
