Manager, Applied AI Architecture – Financial Services

About the role

Anthropic is seeking a Manager to lead its Financial Services Solutions Architect team within Applied AI. You will drive the adoption of cutting‑edge AI technologies across banking, insurance, asset management, and payment providers, partnering closely with sales and product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Hire, manage, and mentor a pre‑sales Solutions Architect team, providing technical guidance and career development.
• Set performance goals in collaboration with sales and cross‑functional partners.
• Act as technical sponsor for high‑value strategic customers, advising on AI adoption strategies and use‑case scoping.
• Partner with sales leadership to create strategies that expand Anthropic product adoption in financial services.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to prioritize customer feedback and remove adoption blockers.
• Travel to customer sites and conferences for executive sessions, workshops, and relationship building.
• Shape a shared vision for safe, beneficial AI solutions and contribute to thought leadership through presentations and content.

Required profile

• 7+ years as a Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or similar pre‑sales technical role.
• 3+ years of experience managing technical pre‑sales teams.
• Proven track record selling complex technical products to financial services firms.
• Deep expertise in enterprise AI use cases and API integrations.
• Understanding of GTM models focused on consumption‑based revenue.
• Ability to build and scale teams and processes in fast‑moving, ambiguous environments.
