About the role
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a PRN Mammography Technologist to join its Breast Center. This temporary, fixed‑term position supports day‑shift imaging services and contributes to high‑quality patient care.
Key responsibilities
- Perform mammography examinations in accordance with departmental protocols.
- Ensure accurate image acquisition, proper positioning, and optimal radiation dose.
- Maintain equipment, perform quality control checks, and document procedures.
- Provide compassionate patient interaction and education throughout the imaging process.
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Required profile
- Legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
- Eligibility to work as clinical staff within a medical ancillary support role.
- Availability for day‑shift work in an onsite clinical setting.
