Make-Ready Specialist

About the role

The Make-Ready Specialist ensures vacant apartments are prepared to Greystar’s quality standards for re‑leasing. Working on‑site in Houston, you will perform technical and mechanical tasks that turn units into market‑ready homes for new residents.

Key responsibilities

• Complete all repairs and improvements required before a new resident moves in, following the community’s make‑ready checklist.
• Caulk and seal windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and showers as needed.
• Inspect sheetrock for damage and repair or replace it.
• Perform touch‑up painting on vacant and occupied units under supervision.
• Assist with maintaining common areas, grounds, and amenities by removing trash, debris, and pressure‑washing surfaces.

Required profile

• Experience in residential maintenance or property turnover.
• Ability to follow detailed checklists and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting and climbing.
