Maintenance Technician – The Aubry

About the role

This position performs technical and mechanical work that ensures the physical aspects of the buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas of the property meet the Company’s standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality. The role involves responding to resident service requests, completing preventative maintenance, and preparing vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and making repairs in accordance with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks, and final inspection.
• Maintain inventory of materials, supplies, tools, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep such as trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting of curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• EPA Type 1, Type 2, or Universal certification for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license (required for operating a golf cart where applicable).
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders, lift up to 25 lb unaided and 50 lb with assistance, and work in all weather conditions.
