Maintenance Technician Team Lead - 2nd Shift

About the role

The Maintenance Technician Team Lead supports the Production Support Manager by coordinating daily maintenance activities on the 2nd shift. This hands‑on leadership role ensures production schedules are met while upholding safety, quality and efficiency standards across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities of the manufacturing maintenance team and communicate work assignments.
• Prioritize and schedule maintenance projects to meet production schedules while minimizing downtime.
• Monitor repair progress, conduct pre‑shift and weekly safety meetings, and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Maintain and generate preventative‑maintenance documentation for new and existing equipment.

Required profile

• High School diploma or GED with at least 10 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Proven ability to lead a maintenance team in a fast‑paced environment and manage stressful situations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; occasional local travel (≈5%).

Required skills

• Hydraulics and electronics troubleshooting.
• Operation and maintenance of overhead cranes and work trucks.
• Use of air tools and fabrication processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Excel, and Outlook.
• Electrical repair and preventive‑maintenance documentation.
