Maintenance Technician – Summit at Sausalito

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join the Summit at Sausalito property team. The role involves ensuring the building, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and completing repairs in line with safety codes and company policies.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and maintain up‑to‑date paperwork for tracking purposes.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep such as trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning and painting of curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing components whenever possible.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of related maintenance experience in a residential or commercial setting.
• Availability to work Tuesday‑Saturday with an on‑call rotation.
• Eligibility for incentive‑based bonuses.
• Familiarity with Entrata or other Property Management Systems is preferred.

Required skills

• Entrata (Property Management System) or similar PMS.
