Maintenance Technician (SOMA) – Full-time

About the role

The Maintenance Technician (SOMA) ensures that the building, grounds, amenities and common areas of a 160‑unit mid‑rise property meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. Working on‑site in San Francisco, you will respond to resident service requests and perform routine preventative maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident requests, diagnosing the source of defects and performing the necessary repairs.
• Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Ensure all repairs comply with company safety and quality standards.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience as a Maintenance or Service Technician, preferably in multifamily housing or property management.
• Ability to work independently and follow safety procedures.
