Maintenance Technician – Riverchase Vista

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Riverchase Vista community in Savannah. The role ensures that all building systems, grounds, and common areas meet the company’s standards for safety, appearance, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and completing repairs in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, repairs, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing debris, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs or signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose mechanical or technical defects and perform repairs safely.
• Experience handling make‑ready turnover processes for residential units.
• Strong organizational skills for inventory management and documentation.
• Willingness to perform general grounds upkeep and basic painting tasks.
